Your setup is the starting point
Get2Lift builds your program from the answers saved in onboarding and Training Setup. Goal, training days, session length, gym setup, movement preferences, and limitations all shape what the generator can pick.
In regenerate mode, the app reuses your saved gym and movement setup unless you change it. That keeps program refresh fast without pretending your equipment or preferences changed.
The app chooses a weekly structure first
Before exercises are selected, Get2Lift decides the split and the shape of each workout day. If Split is set to Auto, it picks a structure that fits your days per week and session length.
That structure creates slots like upper push, upper pull, lower main, or accessory work. Exercise selection happens after those slots are known.
Exercise selection respects your real setup
Gym profile and equipment capabilities act as hard context for what is realistic. Movement preferences gently bias choices when more than one good option fits the same slot.
Movement limitations are treated more strictly. If a pattern is marked Avoid or Reduce, the app tries to remove or down-rank exercises that are likely to irritate it.
